What you can expect: Each session will focus in on a specific benefit that arises out of a somatic yoga practice (improved balance, increased strength, stress management, etc…) allowing you to experience within yourself that benefit and learn the practices you can do to recreate it on your own. In this class you may practice on the floor or sitting in a chair. You will be encouraged to listen to the instructions for a movement rather than watching the movement being done. This allows the space for you to discover the best version of the movement for you. Sometimes a pillow, towel, blanket will be helpful in adding additional support for your body.
