The departments of Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell, MSKCC and HSS, all WCMC affiliates, decided to develop a TriInstitutional Anesthesiology Review Symposium. Director/ Planners of the three departments were selected by the respective department’s chairs. Drs Maria Bustillo (Weill Cornell), Alessia Pedoto (MSKCC) and Davis Lee (HSS) have been working together since last year on the development of the course from topics, location, technical support and food. The course will have  different educational offerings: panels, workshops and case presentations. The location of the meeting will be at the Cornell Tech facilities due to the variety of different rooms, easy access and price. With this course we aim at increasing interdepartmental collaboration, showcase our knowledgable faculty with focus on the development of junior faculty, and provide faculty development opportunities for faculty with limited academic chances due to current financial challenges.
