The Cyma Rubin Women in Science Lectureship was created to highlight the accomplishments of distinguished women in the field of science and to inspire and promote women scientists.

Welcome remarks will be provided by Robert A. Harrington, MD, the Stephen and Suzanne Weiss Dean of Weill Cornell Medicine and Provost for Medical Affairs of Cornell University.

This year’s lecturer is Vanessa Ruta, PhD, the Gabrielle H. Reem, and Herbert J. Kayden Professor Investigator for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at Rockefeller University.

The 2025 Cyma Rubin Women in Science Lectureship will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 3:00 – 4:00pm in the C-200 auditorium and via online webinar. In-person attendance is highly encouraged. We welcome you to register for the lecture today.
