Swallowing Disorders in Adults: From Diagnosis to Innovative Solutions (Dysphagia Awareness Month)

  • Do you have difficulty swallowing?
  • Are you over 65 years of age, or know someone who is?
  • Do you or a loved one have neurologic, rheumatic, or respiratory disease, or head or neck cancer?
  • Are you a caregiver for someone with swallowing problems?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this free seminar may be for you.

The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association estimates that 1 in 25 people will experience dysphagia, or difficulty swallowing, at some point in their lifetime.

To recognize National Dysphagia Awareness Month in June, the dysphagia team at the Weill Cornell Medicine, Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery invites you to attend a virtual seminar on swallowing disorders in adults.
