About this Event
This lecture will address the critical topic of suicide risk and prevention among preteen children. With growing concerns about mental health in younger populations, early intervention is essential. The session will focus on the Stanley-Brown Safety Planning Intervention, a widely used, evidence-based approach to suicide prevention. Attendees will learn the key components of a high-quality safety plan for youth and explore how the intervention can be
effectively adapted to meet the developmental needs of preteen children.
