https://www.eventbrite.com/e/514301047277This annual, half-day retreat unites members of our “Tri-I” community (Weill Cornell Medicine, The Rockefeller University and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center) to enhance the career path of those interested in research careers in the biomedical sciences, and foster community.
Join us for a communications workshop facilitated by the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science. The workshop is designed to help scientists and researchers learn to engage and inspire diverse audiences through effective communication. Participants will learn how to balance being prepared with responding in the moment to address questions. The program emphasizes universal communication strategies, including avoiding jargon and technical skills for creating engagement.
Career/Networking Fair
Engage with members of the Tri-I community and participate in our career/networking fair. Information will be available regarding grant/fellowship opportunities, career/faculty development programs, networking groups and other programs of interest to Tri-I community members.
