Weill Cornell Medicine Events

Racial and Social Justice Book Club Discussion

Moonlight, winner of the 89th Academy Award for Best Picture, veers away from stereotypes to reveal the challenges that Black queer people routinely face.

The coming-of-age tale invites us to consider the mental health, physical health, economic health, and social and cultural experiences of queer patients of color as well as queer people of color in STEM.

Discussants:

Manjil Chatterji, M.D. (WCM Radiology)

Jerel Ezell, Ph.D. (WCM Medicine)

Jeffrey Reiner, MD (MSKCC Radiology)
