Workshop Overview:

A competitive NIH Career Development Award fits together like a complex ecosystem. In this seminar we walk through all the parts of the proposal, emphasizing the purpose of each part and how different sections must mesh.

Sponsored by the Clinical & Translational Science Center, this virtual seminar will be presented by Dr. M. S. (Peg) AtKinsson and Dr. Amanda Welch of AtKisson Training Group. All Investigators are invited to apply.

SEMINAR STRUCTURE

  • One four-hour virtual session with breaks every hour
  • Combined lecture formats and hands-on activities
  • Walk-through of parts of NIH Career Development Award Proposal

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

  • Understanding of the requirements and nuances of a K award application
  • Ability to connect proposal elements to tell your story in a cohesive way
