Suicide Prevention: Combating a Leading Cause of Death in Physicians
On September 17, 2020, in observation of National Physician Suicide Awareness Day, the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Psychiatry at Cornell and Columbia will host a virtual panel discussion on suicide prevention for all faculty, students and staff at the medical campuses.
This year’s theme, “One of Us,” reflects how this public health issue has impacted all of us. The program will include opening remarks and a discussion with several nationally renowned physicians:
