Molecular Mechanisms and Targets of Post-Ischemic Protein Ubiquitination

This presentation will involve introduction of mechanisms that contribute to increased ubiquitination after ischemia and reveal the identity and cellular location of ubiquitinated proteins. Collectively, the presented data will point at a regulatory rather than degradative role of post-ischemic ubiquitination, which particularly affects proteins in the post-synaptic density of excitatory neurons.
