Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction 8-Week Course with Emily Herzlin

Mindfulness is a way of paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, with kindness towards our experience.

The MBSR course was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in order to help patients with chronic pain and chronic illness work with stress and stress-related symptoms.

This course teaches several forms of mindfulness and meditation practices, emphasizing ways of integrating mindfulness into daily life in order to reduce stress and increase overall wellbeing.

MBSR has been shown to improve anxiety, fatigue, insomnia, pain, physiological and cognitive manifestations of stress, and more.

You do not need to have any experience with meditation or mindfulness to participate in MBSR. It is appropriate for all levels of experience.
