Within the diagnosis of “lymphoma” there are a wide-range of different forms and types of
the disease, some of which are slower growing and more chronic blood cancers, while
others are faster growing and more aggressive. While on the surface, the names may
sound similar, there are many differences in the way different types of lymphomas are
treated. The age of the patient is also a factor, as lymphomas impact everyone from
children to the elderly.
Join us for a seminar to better understand all of these nuances about lymphoma, and
more, during the Weill Cornell Medicine Wellness Series in partnership with the Harry
Belafonte 115th Street Library.
