Miscommunication is a common problem and can lead to poor outcomes. Our speaker, Joan Altman, MPH, BSN, RN and Community Program Coordinator at the Hospital for Special Surgery, will supply basic questions to pose to your doctor after a diagnosis. She will provide a checklist to help patients be sure all areas of concern are covered in the limited time allotted.
