DESCRIPTION:This presentation will provide an introduction to Emotionally F
 ocused Couples Therapy. The presenter will give an overview of the foundat
 ion of EFCT\, a\n\nleading evidence-based couples treatment\, and the outc
 ome research. We will cover how EFCT is an attachment-driven approach and 
 develop a basic\n\nunderstanding of EFCT stages and interventions. Assessm
 ent tools\, practical strategies\, and case examples will be discussed.\n\
 n \n\n1 CE credit available to WCM Department of Psychiatry full time and 
 voluntary faculty Psychologists\, Social Workers and LMHCs\, who sign in w
 ith their full name\, attend the entire lecture and complete a survey whic
 h will be emailed following the completion of the lecture.
