Vaping and Juuling Information Session 

Join Dr. Jonathan Avery, the
Director of Addiction Psychiatry and PAVE (Parents Against Vaping E-Cigarettes for an information session and to discuss youth nicotine use.

Substance use among adolescents and young adults has been declining recently except for one substance, nicotine. In the United States, Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) are being used in record numbers to consume nicotine, with nearly 2 in 5 students in 12th grade reporting past-year vaping.

All adolescents, parents, and interested community members are welcome to attend.

Directions: To get to the auditorium, come to the main entrance of the hospital at 525 E.
68th Street (between York and the East River), NY, NY 10065. Once you enter (and show a
photo id), proceed straight to the information desk, where you will turn RIGHT (after the
sitting area). Proceed to the “Payson” elevators, which you will see on the RIGHT side of the hallway, and which you will take to floor 11 and follow signs to F-1190.
