About this Event
Concerns about diversity dominate ethical discussions of medical school admissions in the U.S. There is good reason for concern given that many classes lack diversity. But diversity is much need to more complicated than simply trying to reflect demographic diversity in the U.S. Many variables must be taken into account. What is of crucial importance is the need to rapidly expand health care and primary care services to those lacking access. The role of paraprofessionals, drug store chains and AI need to command attention when discussing diversity among providers.
