"Clinical Trials and Blood Cancers"  (In Partnership with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society)

Patients and caregivers are invited to attend this education program focusing on clinical trials in blood cancers.  Dr. Sangmin Lee and Nurse June Greenberg will provide a behind-the-scenes overview of the clinical trial process and discuss how clinical trials move treatment forward in the area of blood cancers.  A panel discussion will follow the presentation, along with questions-and-answers.  Support resources available locally and nationally through the L&LS will be identified.   Dr. Lee is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine and Assistant Attending Physician at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.  He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology.  Nurse Greenberg is a research nurse manager for the Hematology/Oncology Department at NYP/WCMC.  She has extensive collaborative experience in research and clinical settings both at NYP/WCM and other institutions, including the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
