Weill Cornell Medicine's Center for Global Health, the Merieux Foundation, Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), and GHESKIO Haiti are pleased to present an event focused on the intersection of infectious diseases and non-communicable diseases. This event coincides with the UN General Aseembly, which will focus this year on non-communicable diseases.
The event will consist of two panel discussions:
(1) Viral infections and cancer
(2) Infections and cardiovascular disease (HIV, COVID-19).
Dr. Jarbas Barbosa, Director of the Pan American Health Organization, will give the keynote address. Panelists include:
