Brain Tumor Support Group

Suspended: Please contact the Brain Tumor Clinic for information at 646-962-2185.

The Departments of Social Work and Neuro-oncology at NYP Weill Cornell invites any persons with a primary brain tumor (glioma) and their caregivers to join our monthly drop-in support group. (Click here to download a PDF of the flyer.)

The goal of the Brain Tumor Support Group is to provide a safe environment for people with primary tumors and their caregivers to share their experience, strength, hope, and fears and hear from others going through shared experiences. The group's aim is to foster a sense of belonging, learn coping strategies, and deal with challenges and adjustments to life during and after treatment.

The group is usually held on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 2 pm to 3 pm on the 10th Floor of the Weill Greenberg Center at 1305 York Avenue (at 70th Street). But please call Sherry Zauderer, LCSW, at 212-746-3159 to confirm since the details do occasionally change.

All are welcome to attend. Discussions are confidential and there is no committment required to attend additional meetings.

You may also contact the Brain Tumor Clinic for more information at 646-962-2185.
