Michael C. Beecham is a Partner at Petrichor. Previously, Mr. Beecham was at Vatera Healthcare Partners and OrbiMed Advisors, where he was in the healthcare special situations and structured finance business. Prior to OrbiMed, Mr. Beecham was with American Capital in its Healthcare Private Equity group and with Navigant Consulting (formerly Easton Associates) in the Life Sciences group. Mr. Beecham holds a B.S.E. in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Yaron David

Yaron was born and raised in Israel. At the age of 18 he enrolled in the prestigious military program for the future leader engineers. As part of the program Yaron earned his engineering degree from the Technion- institute of technology, specializing in mechanical engineering. As he was reaching the end of his training, Yaron was recruited to a top-secret Israeli ministry of defense technological program. There, Yaron was initially involved in designing complex opto mechanical systems. Quickly climbing up the ranks, within 4 years Yaron was appointed his own team, leading great innovative technological developments and winning the Israeli Defense Award for product development, twice. Wanting to expand his knowledge and apply it to medical device, Yaron pursued a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the Technion during his military service. After he was honorably discharged as a Major from the Ministry of defense, Yaron had the unique opportunity to join, as a head of mechanics, to a highly innovative start-up company called Microtech medical. In a record time of 18 months Yaron brought the company from an idea to a working proof of concept product and built the bench testing pathway for it. Yaron transitioned to a sister company, Valve medical in the summer of 2011 as one of their leading engineers.  There, he was responsible for the design and testing of the heart valve from concept to completion.  In the past year Yaron has been working as a design to cost officer at Medinol LTD in which he reviews all the existing as well as developments strategies to new products. Yaron also consults multiple medical device companies and has been involved in bringing cutting edge medical device industry to NYC.
