The 2024 Tri-Institutional Breakout Prize for Junior Investigators Scientific Symposium celebrates and presents the scientific work of the awardees of the Tri-Institutional Breakout Award for Junior Investigators.

The Tri-Institutional Breakout Award for Junior Investigators is awarded annually. This prestigious honor recognizes the work of exceptional postdoctoral researchers from the Tri-Institutional community with a cash prize of $25,000 each.

The Tri-Institutional Breakout Award was established in 2015 by three winners of the 2013 Breakthrough Prize in Life Science — Lewis C. Cantley (Weill Cornell Medicine), Charles Sawyers (Memorial Sloan Kettering), and Cornelia Bargmann (Rockefeller University).
