Contemporary radiosurgery of primary brain tumors and bran metastasis

Radiation Oncology Grand Rounds presents:

Dr. Samuel Ryu

Professor and chairman of radiation oncology, Stonybrook University School of Medicine

 

Dr. Ryu has pioneered new approaches to radiosurgery of spinal cord tumors and launched the first spinal radiosurgery clinical trial of an image-guided radiosurgery/stereotactic brain radiation technique for localized spine metastasis. Dr. Ryu is the co-editor of a book, Spine Radiosurgery, and has written 17 book chapters and 111 peer reviewed scholarly publications focusing mainly on radiation of brain and spinal tumors. He is also the founding editor-in-chief of the Journal of Radiosurgery and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy, an official journal of International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society (ISRS).
