HPREP is a weekly after-school program which assists underrepresented in medicine (URM) high school sophomores and juniors with the college application process and also exposes the students to the health professions.
The program consists of informative seminars that range from how to navigate the common application to anatomy lessons and small group work with medical student mentors. The medical students provide guidance on the college entrance essay, the HPREP research paper, and the path to medical school.
HPREP runs from January through March. There are around 100 students, so A-250 fits the conditions (HPREP has used A-250 for seminars in the past years).
